Where to start...since I haven't been blogging for the last year...can't believe i've been a slacker that long! Life sure does get busy with these boys.
Braxton is 9yo now, will be 10 next month and Alex is 6yo, and both go nonstop! But i wouldn't change anything and love every minute of it.
We got a boat this past Spring!! Ken has been wanting one for a couple of years now and we finally we able to make it happen. This year already we were able to have a ton of fun with it and the boys absolutely love it! And so do we!!
Even Whopper has become a boat dog!!
We've had a couple of BBQ's this past Summer and were able to have some great times with great friends!
We made a trip to Lake Havasu (where Ken's parents live) and brought the boat with us. It was a really amazing trip and we had a fabulous time. The Summer heat in AZ is MUCH more bearable when you're on the water.
Since Ken was a kid, growing up going to the river, he has wanted to own his own boat and drive it under the London Bridge...He has now crossed this off his bucket list!!
Grandma made Alex a birthday cake while we were there and Alex got to celebrate his birthday a little early, lucky boy!
Lake Havasu, AZ 118 degrees, Ken's mom asked him to BBQ some steaks up...what a good son! He was sweating his butt off but it was a great dinner.
I did a mud run with Hailey, MarDee, and Kristin...how i get talked into these things i'm not sure...but we had a great time and had a lot of laughs. Our team name was Muddy Buddies.
The run ended up being not too insane and pretty laid back so after the first little bit I had Alex join us. He had a ton of fun!
We took a camping trip to Bear Lake, one of my most favorite places! Ken drove the truck pulling our camper and I drove our buddies SUV that we borrowed and pulled the boat. This was my first time pulling anything and I think I did pretty okay.
This trip was also during my birthday so we invited friends up. Nikki, Cody and Kaycee and Marcie and Aiden all came up...it was so fun to camp with friends and just relax.
Braxton went to football camp again this summer to get prepped for the season. It was just a couple of days long but it's very involved and great training.
June 25th Alex turned 6 years old!
Can't believe how time flies.
He has been wanting to play soccer so bad and we got him all signed up to start for the fall season, so of course we had to get him some soccer equipment for his birthday...and Ninja Turtles...he LOVES those turtles!
We had a fun party. Kaycee of course came and all the Poon kids...this little guy is the new baby Ty Poon, isn't he adorable??
Jenna Poon
Jenny, Ty, and Mark.
Not sure who that goofy kid is!!!!
Kennedy!
and of course a Ninja Turtle cake!
It sure was an active summer but we had so much fun and made great memories
